Responsibilities
The Director OmniChannel Retail Marketing - focuses on Marketing and Development activity for Universal Pictures theatrical releases and NBC Television programs. Develop digital strategies and negotiate .com campaigns in partnership with retailers by defining the right media mix to amplify campaign message while driving sales (i.e. Google Search/SEO/paid product ads, paid media) while working with internal ad sales/media teams on broadcast & Peacock opportunities â€'' Must Have experience managing SEO and SEM programs with agencies like Criteo, Pacific View or Kenshoo.
The focus of the position is to deliver significant retail marketing, media value and promotional activity incorporating all NBCUniversal business units (promotions, home entertainment, consumer products and TV properties to support CP sales Online and instore at key accounts.
This role will work closely with Consumer Products to help deliver revenue through marketing and placement of product online and instore at key accounts.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Owns the CP retail marketing strategies across all product categories in support of initiatives within NBCUniversal's portfolio.
• Develops omni-channel campaigns (digital, social, in-store, etc.) that drive consumer demand and meaningful ROI/product sales.
• Develop digital strategies and negotiate .com campaigns in partnership with retailers by defining the right media mix to amplify campaign message while driving sales (i.e. Google Search/SEO/paid product ads, paid media) while working with internal ad sales/media teams on broadcast & Peacock opportunities â€'' Must Have experience managing SEO and SEM programs with agencies like Criteo, Pacific View or Kenshoo
• Lead on campaign development process including any campaign ideation/concepting/brainstorming, pitching or the sell-in of ideas internally/externally, along with all creative execution.
• Retail expert w/ understanding of account specific strategies and core consumer trends to provide solutions that are break-frame while being executional at retail.
• Partner with Retail Marketing counterpart/Retail Sales to define retail differentiators across product exclusives, program themes, and marketing elements to provide meaningful distinction at accounts.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders (licensees, promotional partners, internal franchise/creative teams) on campaign amplification, product requests, and budget planning
• Work with North America Marketing team on retail agnostic plans (across all brands) that help inform retail specific strategies.
• Manage all moving components of campaign through project management tools and timelines to ensure teams are updated, on track, and accountable.
• Key contributor to executive retail meetings, pitch decks, and campaign postmortems
• Responsible for retail marketing budget for respective accounts.
• Work with international teams to determine how campaign elements/assets can be repurposed.
• Manage all requests for asset development (retail marketing guides, marketing toolkits, etc.) and PR support (i.e. influencer campaigns, gift guides)
• Strategize with Franchise and Digital teams on “always on†digital content and how to leverage content to drive back to retail (i.e. product integrations, media buys, exclusive content for retailers, etc.)
Qualifications
/Requirements
• 5 years of retail, marketing, promotions or packaged goods experience with significant experience creating large scale programs
• Deep knowledge of retail business including retail marketing tactics, promotional partners/packaged goods, home entertainment, and consumer products
• Strong pitching and negotiating skills with the demonstrated ability to close large deals
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and consistently with supervisor, Universal Brand Development colleagues and cross-divisional stakeholders
