Description
Job title: Student Administrator
Responsible to: Campus Manager
Company & Location: Abbey Road Institute (London Campus)
Overview
Reporting to the Campus Manager, the primary roles of the Student Administrator are to organise and administer the process of recruiting students to the Institute and provide administrative support throughout a student's programme. They are the first point-of contact for all enquirers to the Institute, students and academic staff and must provide a high-quality service at all times.
The person in this role will also provide support for the marketing team. This will include assisting with recruitment events, delivering the Institute's digital marketing strategy and helping to organise alumni activity. Abbey Road Institute is a global business with a growing network of campuses around the globe. This role will include providing occasional administrative support to the Global team.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer relations
• High school degree, diploma (or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated experience in an equivalent role
• Proven students support experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
• Problem-solving skills
• High degree of computer literacy
Experience
Essential
• Direct experience in the provision of high quality customer service, including face-to-face services
• Experience of working effectively in a busy administrative role
• Experience of working on multiple activities within tight deadlines
• Experience of working with complex databases, ensuring accuracy throughout
• Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive information
• Experience of and confidence in dealing with a wide range of people at all levels in an organisation
• Experience of organising high-quality events and meetings
• Experience of communicating effectively using a variety of media, including email and social media
• A passion for music and an interest in how it is produced
Desirable
• An understanding of the music production process
• Experience of working with International Students
