Description
Job title: Senior Management Accountant
Responsible to: Financial Controller, UMO
Department: Universal Music Operations (UMO)
Location of work: Kensington Village
Overview
To deliver the timely, accurate and well-presented management accounts for Universal Music Operations (UMO). Supporting the Financial controller in ensuring the smooth running of UMO, establishing effective communication with the key stakeholders. Working with our Shared Service centre to maximise the team’s efficiency and effectiveness.
Person specification
Essential
• Qualified ACCA/ACA, CIMA (or equivalent) with demonstrable experience in a similar role
• Highly numerate and results orientated individual with a clear focus on attention to detail
• Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills
• Self-motivated with proactive approach to work and flexible team player
• Well organised, with the ability to plan and deliver to tight deadlines
• Sound problem solving and decision making abilities
• Demonstrable systems experience (SAP, SAP BPC, SAP Analyser, HFM, Smartview)
• Excellent IT skills; high proficiency in all Microsoft office programs (specifically Excel)
• Genuine interest in systems and system improvements
• Willing to travel
