Description
How we LEAD:
Universal Music Group is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager - Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging to join our team at Universal Music Group in New York. This role is a contract role at start. The person selected will report into the head of global Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging. We believe our efforts are about people experience and we are looking for someone who wants to curate that experience, partner with our executives, and lead meaningful programs end-to-end. This is an opportunity to lead a movement!
How you’ll CREATE:
• Develop educational & cultural awareness employee programs for Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging
• Develop global mental health & wellbeing initiative, in partnership with other HR stakeholders and business leaders
• Develop diversity toolkit and resources to communicate the mission & vision of the team
• Manage our external diversity community partnerships
• Partner with other HR stakeholders to develop data & identify key performance indicators for deliverables
• Conduct industry market analysis and audience positioning for UMG diversity branded programs
• Partner with HR stakeholders to launch diversity within each local region and for specific labels
• Partner with local HR to develop Diversity & Inclusion for east coast labels and business units
• Manage end-to-end execution of led programs & initiatives, leveraging brand positioning and key partnerships
Bring your VIBE:
• 4 years of prior work experience in workplace culture, diversity and inclusion, employer branding, and/or cultural awareness
• Music, Media, and/or Entertainment industry experience
• Self-starter mentality and comfort working independently
• Strong executive presence, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, & ability to package and deliver programs
• Capacity to think flexibly and move quickly in a fast-growing and ever-changing environment
• Resourceful - seeks answers, solutions and alternatives when obstacles are presented
• Can work on multiple initiatives at one time
• Passionate about the intersection of culture & music!
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
