Description
This role is responsible for the client experience and day-to-day front office operations of the studio complex in Nashville, including team scheduling, client booking and facility admin.
How you’ll CREATE:
• Manage and facilitate the daily operations and client related activities to ensure smooth functioning and presentation of the studios
• Day-to-day duties include client interaction, phones, coordinating session needs to ensure maximum client satisfaction, booking rooms and daily updates to the studio calendar system
• Responsible for directing daily tasks around the studio complex to keep it in tip-top shape, i.e.:
• Appearance of buildings and studios inside and out
• Maintain supply stock levels
• Make sure studio assistants know what they need and have what they need for a successful session
• Make sure all cleaning tasks are completed throughout the day and the facilities are left ready to go for the next day
• Work with local and central UMG facilities teams to ensure studio facility remains clean and in good repair
• Assist all guests and clients to Studios as needed, including assistance with parking, escort through building, etc.
• Build relationships with return clients to enhance their overall experience at East Iris
• Interface with A&R staff for booking studio time
• Work with studio exec on negotiating studio rates as needed
• Help curate, manage and update all social media platforms for the Nashville studio operation
• As needed, support studio bookkeeping activities (work-orders/invoices, coding, billable incidentals)

• Basic knowledge of Recording Studio/Post-Production services
• Understanding of, and a passion for, the music business
• Ability to effectively communicate with senior management
• Ability to effectively direct junior members of staff in a positive, encouraging way
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and work independently
• Customer service/Client relations experience required
• Exposure to the music business, whether through education or work experience or just sheer passion for it
• Event planning/management experience appreciated
• BA in relevant field or equivalent work experience
