Description

The Specialist will serve as the Priority Records informational hub to field communication, requests and issues with internal Caroline/Priority staff for processing. Daily functions include release scheduling, production and operations with some marketing functions as needed.
Job Functions:
Production
• Maintain constant communication with labels as well as any additional outside personnel to ensure timely delivery of all projects
• Manage the parts delivery for audio/artwork for all labels
• Coordinate the creation of new products, UPC, and Priority ISRC codes
• Coordinate with outside graphic designer as needed for artwork creation and/or conversions; route artwork to the label for final approval
• Traffic assets (artwork, audio & metadata) within the BOX for intercompany use; archive assets
• Manage parts delivery to Japan and Caroline International
• Setup Vevo channel as needed
• Process approved independent marketing and PR invoices in Uniport as needed
Operations
• Manage new label, roster and project set up
• Manage initial item setup & maintenance within UMG Business Systems – Atlas, R2, DIGS, RWS
• Manage the content scheduled for release through the Digital Supply Chain from the set-up of the products to the delivery at digital and video partners
• Whitelist each explicit product for SoundCloud; coordinate the monetization process
• Whitelist products as needed for Facebook and Instagram initiatives
• Coordinate policy changes for video blocking and takedowns
Marketing
• Develop artist briefs for music distributions and the Priority website
• Develop Linkfires for each project release and distribute to labels for promotional purposes
• Traffic artwork for banner and avatars for YouTube, Vevo, Apple etc.
• Manage social media platforms
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with staff at all levels including Senior Management
• Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful
• Excellent follow-through and attention to detail
• Flexible – able to adjust to changing priorities, and able to multi-task
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
Experience:
• Music or entertainment experience is required
• Strong proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products Experience
Education:
• 3-6 years of experience in a related field
• Degree or equivalent experience preferred
