Description
How you’ll LEAD:
The manager will report to the East Coast Director of International Production (US). The manager will work closely with the East Coast Label International & Production departments to provide physical and digital production support.
How you’ll CREATE:
• Manages all US-Owned release across all four East Coast Labels (Republic/Island/Def Jam/Verve) for the world ex US
• Coordinates and ships audio/artwork for all labels for the world ex US for physical manufacturing
• Responsible for physical initiations on US products for CD/Vinyl/Cassette that consists of Bill Of Materials and territory restrictions
• Sets up unique International versions digitally/physically including the creation of new products, UPC, and ISRC codes
• Schedule releases in DiGS and set-up campaigns in RWS for US-owned digital products
• Interact daily with the label’s International Marketing and domestic Production personnel
• Provide support and coordination help in the creation of all digital and physical format releases with counterparts at UMGI/London and at the individual territory level
• Maintain domestic & international releases in UMG’s Partsorder system
• Attend weekly AEC team meetings & label’s weekly Production meetings
• Help maintain and update all systems pertaining to active and archival projects
• Provide general support and expertise to label International Marketing department
• Work with International Marketing on approvals for audio, artwork, videos, etc.
• Processing of invoices via the UNIPORT system
• Maintain AEC weekly reports and provide various content analysis reports
Bring your VIBE:
• BA Degree
• Music industry experience in physical and digital production
• Strong organizational, administrative skills, pro-active and innovative
• Experience working with International companies
• Production experience with music products and graphics
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Internet, basic database skills
• A “customer service” orientation in dealing with the International Marketing Staff at the label group, as well as with our worldwide affiliates
• Highly motivated and able to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
