Responsible to: Head of Learning & Development
Department: Human Resources
Location of work: Kings Cross, London
Main purpose of role
As a Learning & Development Advisor you will support the business in helping to create and deliver effective group and individual learning interventions and programmes. A ‘hands-on’ influencer, you will have the opportunity to add value across all aspects of L&D in collaboration with the wider HR team. Utilising coaching and mentoring approaches, you always try to find the root cause of any development required and deliver the most appropriate solution.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Support the L&D team with everything from bespoke individual development planning to delivering workshops and development sessions.
• Design, produce and iterate content for individual and group workshops and sessions.
• Enhance succession planning by instigating individual career development programmes.
• Constantly analysing knowledge gained around the business to develop the best possible solutions for different business areas/individuals.
• Work closely with the L&D coordinator & BPs to ensure budget allocations are most effective; supplier invoices are on track; and live updates of all development activity are maintained.
Your Passion
As a people person (in the true sense, not the cliche), you enjoy embedding yourself into a business, uncovering and diving deep into employee challenges, goals, skills and more. Your mindset is solutions-led, and you’re committed to keeping open communication across the business, including feeling confident challenging what we are doing and why. This is a visible role that requires a highly proactive approach, requiring a combination of analytical thinking alongside a creative, growth mindset.
Your Skills and Experience
• Experience in designing and implementing effective learning solutions for a range of audiences: both groups and individuals.
• Experience in designing and creating content for development sessions.
• Leading the delivery of group development sessions.
• The ability to build solid and lasting relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Owning the delivery and reporting of everything you are involved in.
• Curiosity to find new ways to share knowledge and apply skills, including challenging our processes and ways of working. You’re comfortable implementing iterations and seeking feedback quickly, from a variety of sources.
• You know how to manage the complexities of dealing with a high volume of tasks with conflicting deadlines.
Extra Awesome
• Graduate level - HR/psychology degree preferred.
• Chartered CIPD qualified or evidence of proactive growth mindset.
• Experienced user of a range of psychometric and other tools.
• Experience working in a Media or Music organisation.
This Is Us
• We are a team with the constant drive to try new things, and push boundaries.
• We make quick decisions; that’s why we need problem solvers who aren’t afraid to throw ideas and solutions onto the table.
• We value open communication and integrity above hierarchies… every single person in our business adds value.
• We’re diverse and inclusive, as humans and in our music taste - we don’t judge and expect the same from you.

• Group Personal Pension Scheme (between 3% and 9%)
• Private Medical Insurance
• 25 paid days of annual leave
• Eyecare Scheme
• Interest Free Season Ticket Loan
• Holiday Purchase
• Dental and Travel Insurance
• Cycle to Work Scheme
