The A Side: A Day in The Life
Bravado is the only global, 360-degree full service merchandise company that develops and markets high-quality licensed merchandise to a world-wide audience.
In this role you’ll be accepted to support the VP, International Sales & Marketing and the wider team with support towards the international territories allocated to this role.
Much of this position involves speaking and liaising with these international territories and the A&R contacts within them to facilitate approvals and generally help with any queries.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Be Organised:
• Updating the approvals tracker for the abovementioned markets – this involves inputting and updating at concept, pre-production and finished production stages. Tabulated by country and broken down by retailer / PPD (price) / unit orders / release date.
• Updating the outstanding approvals tracker document and circulating week – sent to all A&R and approvers in the US. This is for ALL markets (including those for which Greg and Serena are responsible).
• Putting all new concept requests onto OPM in order that US can view as links (on abovementioned markets.).
• Generating UPC codes (for all abovementioned markets.) in some weeks this is literally hundreds of codes, which can easily account for a half a day’s work.
• Formatting Excel and Word documents as required and assisting in building presentations and trend capsules.
• Sending finished pre and finished samples to the New York and LA office’s and filing samples held in London for internal reference.
Be Collaborative:
• Work with the Sales & Marketing team in updating and adding to the artist activity calendar which is circulated monthly. This involves pulling in details from artist tour dairies, album release schedules and promotional schedules.
• Working with the VP International and International Product Manager on the monthly (fashion) market monitor document.
• Generally assisting the department in all other duties.
Person Specification:
• Previous experience of working in Product Manager role or similar in music or fashion is desirable, but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Team player. Capable of working with teams in other international territories.
• Strong time management skills, and the ability to deal with changes to schedules whilst remaining calm and composed.
• Adept with using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
