Part Time Unpaid Internship
Description
Job title: Productions Intern
Responsible to: Managing Director
Department: Globe Productions
Location of work: 4 Pancras Square
Main Purpose of the role
Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Core role
• Designing onscreen and print treatments for programme and content ideas
• Creating bespoke Power Point / keynote prese ntation documents, sizzle reels and logos
• Editing of pilot/short-form/social content
• Motion graphics and aft er effects for all the above
• Logging footage across multiple hard drives, maint aining a working visual archive
• Integrating Globe content onto social media , websites, You Tube channels etc
-Wider Team
• Providing g eneral team admin and logistic al support
• Provide a supporting role to in-house dir ectors/producers during shoots
• Othe r ad hoc duties as requested by productions team
Person Specification
Essential
• Desire to work in content/ audio visual production
• Creative thinker with an eye for design
• Passion for music
• Hard working , organised and self-motivated individual
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Digitally aware, ability to integrate content onto social media, website, YouTube channel etc.
• Capable of completing a fter effects/motion graphics
• Strong IT skills including excellent PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills, Photoshop , Illustrator, FCP and Premier Pro
• Familiar and able to operate DSLR cameras and other basic recording equipment
• Enthusiasm and knowledge able of television & content , the main channels & platforms and what programs and series on liner and digital platforms are perceived to be successful
• Equipped with basic knowledge of the music industry and contempora ry record label business model
• Awareness of current affairs , upcoming/established artists within the UK and abroad
• Excellent a ttention to detail
• Apt at making and maintaining strong working relationships with individuals within different teams, both internally and externally
• Ability to learn quickly and prioriti s e responsibilities
Desirable
• Previous experience of w orking in content
• Knowledge of production systems and process es: r ecording, editing, transmission
• Basic ability to film advantageous
