Part Time Unpaid Internship
Description
Our Film and TV Production Team is currently looking for Interns! In this Intern position you will have the opportunity to gain insight into the film and television development process and hands on experience inside a working production company. This role will support with numerous projects in various stages of development and production.
Internship Requirements
• Must be a student currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
• Exceptional computer, written and verbal communication skills
• Should have at least sophomore year standing
• Must be able to legally work in the United States
Job Functions:
• Reading script submissions and providing written summaries and recommendations for development executives
• Researching artists, labels, and music history to help us mine the UMG catalog for great stories
• Creating lists with recommendations for talent for projects in development
• Communicating with talent agencies to determine talent availability for our projects
• Providing administrative support on desks as needed
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Passion for and knowledge of film, television, and music
• Prior film or television internship experience
• Experience in basic office programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel)
• Patience, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education:
• Major: Film Studies/Production or related (English, Theatre, Communications, etc.)
