Job tit le: Commercial Intern
Responsible to: Digital & Commercial Director

Main
Purpose
of Role
As part of the Commercial department you will provid e support and assistance to the Commercial Director and team as necessary. Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Help prepare and maintain weekly sales /stream documentation – i.e. OTC, Charts / mid-week reports, pre-order reports , chart markers, competitor schedule, streams as well as oth er relevant Sales info reports and spreadsheets
• Update monthly Decca sales presentation & collate music required for partner pitches
• Send regular updates to relevant departments i.e. Marketing, Sales team and label
• Attend regular label and planning meetings to document key information
• Maintain Decca sales schedule and keep the sales team infor med of all release date changes
• Collate an d monitor weekly profile /playlist placement across key partners
• Monitor digital channels & streaming profiles to ensure DSP parity and best practice
• Use artist portal /Swift metrics to assist with campaign general reporting
• Monitor best practice pre-order and ‘ out now ’ messaging across all digital marketing
• Make internal/external track pitches for playlists
• Assist Commercial Director when required
• Additional ad hoc duties whe n required

• Excellent numeracy skills and commercial awareness.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Passionate about music with a desire to progress in the industry.
• The ability to learn quickly.
• Self-motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure.
• Flexible and able to prioritise own workload.
• Good compute r skills i.e.: Microsoft Office , Word, PowerPoint.
• Excellen t knowledge and proven experience using excel for reporting purposes
• Knowledge/user of different streaming services
D esirable
• Previous label experience
• Experience of working in an office environment.
• Experience working in ‘music’ (personal or professional).
• Desire to work within sales.
