The A Side: A Day in The Life
In our Global Finance Operations organisation you will join a team of experienced business process analysts and will work on the optimization of global finance processes through various projects. In a project the Business Process Analyst ''owns'' the main work processes.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Be Knowledgeable
• Understanding each step of the end-to-end process, understands the roles and responsibilities of all participants in the process and understands the strengths and weaknesses / pain points of the process
• Understanding the accounting principles that apply to the process
• Understanding the software available to support each of these steps, which requires knowledge of the software's functionality and understanding of its limits without having the in-depth expertise to develop the software
• Able to distinguish between customer requests and the actual underlying business requirements;
• Quickly understands the customers' business environment, proactively assesses its strengths and weaknesses and is able to recommend areas for improvement;
• Understanding requirements articulated in non technological language, assess where current software does not fulfill these and visualize possible solutions
• Able to work together with the technical Solution Architects / developers to establish the technical solution and analyze tradeoffs between development cost / system performance and customer requirements
• Able to manage the change and guide the customer towards the new process through communication and training
Person Specification
Necessary
• Good understanding of Financial and Management Accounting
• Good communication skills
• Good presentation skills
• The ability to take ownership of problems and independently find solutions
• Likes solving problems through automation and technology
