Job title: Brand Partnerships Intern (6 Month Contract)

Start Date: March 201 9
The Role:
We are currently looking for an intern to integrate into the central New Business team. This candidate will primarily focus on supporting Universal Music Group & Brands growth, innovation / new projects activities and the central team on more general matters.
Main Responsibilities :
Within the Brand Partnership division of Universal Music Group, you will join an international team of 3 -people specializing in Business Development , agency relations and Innovation/Diversification and will be responsible for the following tasks including:
• Day to day support – ca ll organizations and follow ups.
• Benchmarking, market research , collating competition intelligence (entertainment sector, new products and technologies) with the aim of identifying diversification opportunities.
• Researching and identifying potential partners/sectors products at international scale.
• Supporting UMG&B central and local teams in project management tasks.
• Designing marketing and commercial offers for UMG&B central and local teams.
• Participating in strategic thinking about new projects development.
• Support team members in their day to day duties.
Person Specification:
Essential :
• T he a bility to create clear, structured, and visually compelling PowerPoin t presentations .
• P roficien cy in MS Pack Office and Internet searches .
• E xcellent analytical and research skills .
• The a bility to multi-t ask in a fast - paced environment .
• Be able to prioritize , work to tight deadlines and have a strong sense of initiative .
• A passion for the music / entertainment, mobile and Internet sectors .
• You will be dynamic, autonomous, a team player, have excellent relational skills and the ability to work under pressure .
• P erseverance, r igor and creativity will help you master and improve the projects you will be working on .
Desirable :
• Basic understanding of the media landscape.
• Basic/advanced knowledge of the Adobe suite including Photoshop (or equivalent) is a plus.
• A second language is a plus.
