Description
As the first point of contact for all guests and calls to Universal Music Canada, this role is an integral member of the Office Services and HR team. The HR Assistant/Receptionist will provide administrative support in all areas of Human Resources, with an upbeat, employee focused and positive attitude.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• First point of contact, welcoming and directing guests to the appropriate UMC contact within the Company, answering and directing calls.
• Administrative Support for the V.P., HR and the HR department including but not limited to filing, preparing correspondences, data entry, reconciling invoices and coding invoices in UniPort, arranging meetings and generating reports.
• Maintains company attendance system.
• Maintains Training & Development library.
• Assists with Lunch & Learns.
• Coordinates company Achievement Award Program including administration, notifying recipients, ordering of awards and distribution.
• Assists with the coordination of job posting process, applicant tracking, scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks.
• Assists with New Employee Orientation
• Assists with the Internship Program.
• Liaise with Office Services on ensuring all aspects of building are running efficiently.
• Assist with a variety of corporate programs led by HR (ie. Take our Kids to Work Day, Flu Shot clinic, Fitness reimbursement, etc.)
• Other projects as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• A passion for excellence in customer service delivery.
• HR Management Diploma/Degree.
• Experience with People@Work and Payroll is an asset.
• Professional demeanor in dealing with confidential and highly sensitive information.
• Excellent organization, planning and priority setting skills, with strong ability to multi-task.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated self-starter.
• Team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
• Exceptional computer skills.
• Passion for music.
