Description
Universal Music has been one of the first record companies to enter the digital space (mobile, internet, TV, social media) as well as to provide tailor-made, innovative and business effective entertainment consumer solutions and marketing packages for brands, with dedicated international and local UMG & Brand teams.
Universal Music Group is in search of a Head of Business- Brand Partnership to be based in Bangkok.
About the role :
• L ead our Brand consultancy division
• F ocus on creation and go to market strategies of global brand partnership projects as well as business development activities across the board.
Strategic
• Oversee end to end Brand Strategy development for clients
• Responsible for tackling client briefs with strategic rationale
• D erive at insights using data analytics and consumers research to better understand the changing landscape in music and consumers engagement.
• Providing clear rationale/s for how we can evolve our brand partnership offering
Commercial
• Develop sales dashboard of potential clients in different industries and segments.
• Work with local and regional team to bring potential clients into our business.
• Budgetary control throughout the year, identify any opportunities and risks
• B uild a pipeline of potential brand partners and useful contacts and own their development through the opportunity qualification process
• S upport account teams and/ or local delivery teams with international project management support
Operational
• Own end to end process of responding to client briefs and leveraging different skillsets in the wider team (e.g. Insight, Creative, Commercial) to win business
• Work closely with Data Science, Insight and Account Management teams to b ecome a subject matter expert in Strategic Planning and how it can be deployed in our evolving work with brands globally.
Desirable Traits:
• At least 7 years of ex perience in a Marketing & Business Development environment (or equivalent)
• Experience from marketing/creative agencies, music, entertainment or related industry would be highly advantageous
• Great connections/network with brand and agencies
• S trong project management and analytical skills
• Superb leadership to lead teams
• Excellent presentation skills with MS offic e , especially PowerPoint
• Strategy consulting experience
