Universal Music Australia Bravado team (bravado.com) is looking to appoint a talented Graphic Artist/Designer who will be responsible for executing design briefs for product design purposes.
You will be a crucial part of the design team, working closely with the Senior Design and Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for translating briefs into fashion forward designs and supporting the design team in creating and maintaining production files.
A combination of new idea / concept generation, plus adaption of existing artwork is required in this role.
YOUR ROLE
Key responsibilities:
• Execute graphic design projects from conception to delivery.
• Forecast colour palette, silhouettes and trends for presentation to retail / business partners.
• Design and develop seasonal and ''trend'' style guides for retail presentation.
• Production art – setting up tech artwork and tech packs for manufacture.
• OPM (Asset management system) – production artwork / separation download.
• OPM (Asset management system) – Asset search for the development of sales programs.
• Labelling set up and design for garment manufacture.
• Assist with design development requests for the creation of new artwork and sales programs.
• Key account management – assist with asset request management and upload for all key clients.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
• Degree / qualifications in a relevant field i.e. Graphic Design or similar.
• 2 – 3 years' relevant design experience, preferably in the textile and fashion Industry.
• A thorough working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow and brief from beginning to completion.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to manage workload in deadline-driven environment
• Excellent language and communication skills. Written content accuracy in this role is of critical importance.
• A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
