Description
How we LEAD:
UMG’s Finance team seeks a Director, Supply Chain. This role is fundamental to UMG’s Supply Chain Planning and Production. The position also serves as a governance process owner of planning and forecasting reports. In this role, you will assist in conducting analysis and compile strategic recommendations to support Distribution, Production and Asset Management Operations.
How you’ll CREATE:
• Manage annual plan and periodic forecasts including:
• Global consolidations and executive presentations
• Cost to Serve analyses
• KPI development and tracking
• Headcount tracking
• Project tracking
• P&L and cash flow review monthly, quarterly and annually
• Review monthly inventory levels
• Identify inefficiencies and process-level improvements within the Supply Chain Finance operations
• Prepare executive management reports and dashboards for Global Supply Chain
• Provide business analytics highlighting key areas of improvements (variance and trend analysis) and help build excel models for business decision making processes
• Ad hoc as needed
Bring your VIBE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting. MBA a plus
• 10 years FP&A experience
• Ideal candidate will have worked with and/or supported a manufacturing-based, and/or operational team(s) with an emphasis on efficiencies (finance process & department operational), cost controlling, project management & analytics, and using financial and operational tools/data/information to facilitate key management decisions
• System/Tool familiarity: SAP FICO/BW, SAP, & MS Office Suite
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Sumifs etc.) and ability to create/work in complex financial models
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and ability to take charge and set objectives
• Executive presence and presentation skills coupled with strong listening skills
• Ability to motivate staff and encourage a team player mentality
• Innovative thinker with the ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
• Attentive to deadlines
