Description
Job title: Development Coordinator
Responsible to: Managing Director, Eagle Rock Films
Department: Eagle Rock Entertainment Ltd
Location of work: W andsworth Town (Kings Cross Autumn 2018)
Main Purpose Of Role
This role will sit within the Eagle Rock Film department, ensuring that development runs smoothly and efficiently, whilst also assisting with other on goings within the business such as Production, PR and supporting the Managing Director.
Development
• Organise ERF development treatments, rewrite and format to Eagle spec. Reach out to producers/directors for materials.
• Organise 3rd party ERF distributed development treatments, rewrite and format to ERF Spec.
• Coordinate internally with other ERE staff to chase for materials or supply materials .
• C oordinate with art dept for one sheets.
• I nitial research for ERF on specific stories.
• P repare and keep up to date in development and in production one sheets .
• U pdate database of creative talent .
ERF promotion and PR
• Manage and update ERF website .
• Manage and update ERF IMDBPro entries .
• Manage and update ERF mailing list. Prepare upcoming Production emailing.
• Develop ERF Twitter/FB pages .
• Coordinate with PR company for external press releases.
Festivals and prizes
• Manage and update Festivals diary.
• Coordinate all festival submissions.
Screenings
Manage and coordinate all screenings of ERF programming. This includes ; preparing invitation, invitation list management in coordination with other departments, budgets, contact with venue and
overseeing the event.
PA to MD Films
Assisting with;
• Personal expenses .
• Diary management as needed .
• Answering phone when MD travelling .
• Organising travel requisitions .
Production assistance
• Manage expenses for production with Production coordinator.
• If requested offer production runner duties on individual shoot days.
• Assistance to production manager when needed.
• Organising travel requisitions.
General office duties
• Standing in on reception .
Person Specification
Desirable :
• 1-2 years’ experience of working within a TV Production environment .
• Previous experience of dealing with senior mem bers of an organisation .
• Proven organisational skills .
• Proven experience of wor king in a pressured environment .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
• Proven experience of working under own i nitiative and as part of a team .
• Confident & assertive .
• Strong sense of initiative, along with discretion .
• PowerPoint skills.
• Basic photoshop and video editing skills.
