Description
UMe, the catalog division of UMG, is seeking a passionate music enthusiast to join our Commercial Sales team as a Coordinator based in Santa Monica, CA.
Job Functions:
• Professional Support & Representation of the Executive Vice President & Commercial Sales Team.
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of the Executive’s obligations in order to proactively assist and/or anticipate needs.
• Provide daily tracks reports on a timely basis and adhere to professional standards.
• Answer all incoming calls, log messages and ensure messages are accurate and delivered in a timely fashion.
• Maintain Team & EVP Meeting calendar; planning, updates, and notifications as necessary.
• Place, track & communicate Artist Accommodation Orders.
• Execute Weekly SoundScan Reporting for Artist Management.
• Manage Account Recaps of Priority Projects.
• Track and manage Marketing budget through approved systems.
• Schedule & Execute team participation at Industry Conferences.
• Maintain B2B website assets, uploading artwork and other info for new releases.
• Gather & execute Business Review & Account Presentation Decks in Powerpoint.
• Manage Travel Booking & expense filing for EVP.
• Order and maintain promotional items and manage mailing of items to key accounts.
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Must be timely in getting work accomplished.
• Must be able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities.
• Must be a creative thinker.
• Computer experience: Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly motivated and with a desire to work in a team environment.
• Ability to keep information confidential.
• Must be willing to work extended hours.
• Must be self-directed and well organized.
Experience:
• Relevant internship or equivalent prior coordinator experience (within the music industry a plus)
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree (or Associate’s degree) or equivalent work experience in related field preferred.
