Description
How we LEAD:
UMe is currently seeking to fill the role of Coordinator, Film & TV. The Coordinator of Film & TV researches copyrights, obtains necessary approvals for the use of Universal Music Enterprises copyrights in all forms of audiovisual media, including but not limited to film, television and home entertainment.
How you’ll CREATE:
• Send artist approval letters to artist management
• Follow up on pending approvals with labels/artist signatories
• Answer client queries
• Put the project to license in FTVL (UMe Film & TV licensing system)
• Enter project into FTVL
• Submit for President and label approval
• Send artist approval letter (if required) to the dealmaker
• Enter requests for international repertoire into GCS (Global Clearance System)
• Update FTVL with approval dates and fees approved by dealmakers to licensees
• Scan project files going to license and give project files to contract administrators
• Weekly and monthly label reports (income received and confirmed uses)
• Schedule meetings
• Assist with pitching
• Generate and send out weekly Film & TV report (income received and confirmed uses)
• Processes Film Festival, Non-Profit and Educational requests
• Issues Album Art approval letters
• Assists with providing licenses and approvals for audits
• Phones
Bring your VIBE:
• Direct Film & TV Licensing experience preferred
• Entertainment experience preferred
• Must be proficient at Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint & Windows and Mac
• Must be extremely organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have professional phone manner
• Self-starter with the ability to follow through with minimal supervision
• Creative spirit with the ability to initiate new ideas
• Motivated and pro-active
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• College degree
