Full Time Job
The Commercial Partnerships & Data Coordinator provides administrative and data support to the UMG Commercial Partnerships Team in the areas of partner and label support and service. Key support roles include distribution and communication of information, process documentation, data hygiene, report building, analysis and department administration.
How you'll CREATE:
• Communicate sales, streaming and revenue trends, success stories and opportunities at partners to UMG and Labels
• Support internal team with ad-hoc reporting and data requests.
• Assist in documentation of processes, scripting, and reporting.
• Update and maintain internal data sources.
• Build reporting creatively and scientifically utilizing streaming, sales, and marketing data to support team and labels.
• Support Labels including fielding requests, questions and advancing training regarding commercial partner activities and business conditions.
Bring your VIBE:
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, index match, and conditional formatting.
• Excellent Google Sheets skills including queries, regular expressions, integration into other Google products like BigQuery & DataStudio, lookups, pivot tables, index match, and conditional formatting.
• Excellent Keynote/PowerPoint skills to create impactful and compelling visualizations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship building with labels, partners, and other internal teams.
• Meticulous attention to detail and follow through.
• Extremely organized with superior time management skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and produce high-quality results under tight deadlines in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and desire to optimize processes and efficiencies.
• Working knowledge and understanding of:
• Internal systems and tools, including BigQuery, DataStudio, Domo, and MicroStrategy.
• Industry data tools, including MRC, Chartmetric, SpotOnTrack, and others.
• Beginner-level SQL queries.
• Beginner-level Python, as relates to basic file automation and extracting data from web APIs.
• Industry data sources, including Apple Music and Spotify APIs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship building with labels and partner
• Strong interest in music and pop culture
• Knowledge of retail, social media and current platforms of entertainment consumption from a consumer perspective
• Experience with analytics, search engine and social media marketing
• Working knowledge and understanding of UMG internal systems a plus. Ability to quickly learn new systems a must
