Description
Capitol CMG is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented coordinator to support the VP of Commercial Partnerships administratively and the Commercial Partnerships team and their accounts including, but not limited to; running and distributing streaming activity reports, gathering playlisting data, planning and coordinating meetings/events, making playlist updates across all applicable platforms, assisting and executing playlist promotional activities.
The ideal candidate will help grow music consumption through assist the Commercial Partnerships team as they develop relationships and strategies that equip Capitol CMG to continue to be the market leader in the Christian and Gospel genre. This candidate should also be a team player and champion for innovation and relentless execution, developing resources that exceed the expectations of our partners (Label/Artist, CMG staff, and Accounts) in keeping with Capitol CMG’s Mission and Vision.
Job Functions:
• Maintain release schedule and marketing/promotions grids for the Commercial Partnerships team.
• Assist administratively with various account needs, i.e. description updates, research and data collection for Hit listing, account verifications, new release affiliate links, update marketing detail (bio, images, etc) to artist profiles and product pages across all DSPs, and other administrative requests.
• Run various reports and gather data to assist the Commercial Partnerships team.
• Compile and assemble pitch decks for Commercial Partnerships team.
• Maintain streaming tracking reports for all labels and distribute various reports and charts.
• Coordinate the relationships with key audio and video playlisting influencers and brands, while using data and insights to increase the effectiveness and activity of those playlists.
• Update all owned playlists across multiple services upon release with direction from VP, Commercial Partnerships.
• Compile and distribute street week positioning document and weekly account sales and streaming charts.
• Coordinate playlist promotions and contests for all Capitol CMG artists in relation to the specific priorities as assigned, including gathering and delivery of advertising assets.
• Compile and complete expense reports for the Commercial Partnerships team.
• Plan, coordinate, and book meetings and events.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while producing excellent results.
• Excellent communication skills that produce desired results of assigned work.
• Proactive, organized and problem solution oriented.
• Demonstrates ood decision making skills while thinking quickly when all facts are not known.
• Must maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Experience:
• College degree preferred.
Education:
• 1 to 3 years of radio/sales/customer service experience preferred.
