Description
The Coordinator, A&R Admin, will act as the liaison between A&R, artists/management and all participants of the recording process to ensure the successful and timely delivery of album releases by successfully accomplishing the following responsibilities:
Job Functions:
• Fully responsible for all vendor maintenance activity: vendor updates, vendor adds, guiding users with the Uniport portal registration process, collaborate with Financial Services’ Vendor Team, and act as the primary contact for new payees associated with new signings
• Collaborate with A&R departments and the Administration team to input Purchase Order Requests into the Uniport system and ensure timely approvals
• Work with the respective A&R staff to manage the Demo/Showcase projects and administer all associated costs
• Assist with ensuring that all necessary clearances are obtained for the release of a song and/or video from third party vendors and outside labels & publishers
• Act as the primary delegate within our proprietary systems when Administrators are out of the office to ensure consistency in workflow
• Assist with the coordination of meetings with other departments to roll out new procedures, develop handouts, and train new hires who join the A&R departments, etc.
• Answer phone, manage and maintain calendar, meeting requests, travel, and expenses
• Aid the team with various research and special projects, as required
Job Requirements:

Experience:
• 2-3 years Music Industry legal/licensing/admin experience
• Familiarity with recording agreements is a plus
• Excellent typing and computer skills, including in Word, Excel, Outlook
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
