We're looking for an experienced Compensation Business Partner to join our Compensation Team. In this role, you will provide compensation partnership for the businesses/labels in NY in collaboration with HR Partners.
Responsibilities:
• Provide compensation support to businesses/labels in NYC.
• Build an understanding of the business and its issues, respond to data requests and required analytics to support the strategic partnership between HR and the business leaders.
• Partner to manage the annual compensation process locally – benchmarking, structure design, pay increases, & bonus payments.
• Build a consultative and collaborative relationship with HR business partners on compensation programs and compensation initiatives.
• Design and implement programs with an understanding of fulfilling business need
• Build and deliver compensation-related training and education materials to your client teams.
• Work with the talent acquisition team and HR Partners to deliver new hire offer package consultation to ensure alignment to market and internal peers.
• Work with compensation team to roll out of corporate projects, initiatives and programs
Requirements:
• BA/BS in related field
• 5 years of experience in-house or advising compensation role, preferably in the entertainment industry (or creative industry)
• Solid eye for business and the ability to influence and develop strong working relationships with multiple partners
• Experience in a client-facing role
• Strong change management and project management skills
• Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
• Excellent Excel skills and detailed oriented
