Your Challenge
As a global lead, you will be managing one of our most sought-after key streaming partners. Based in our spanking new offices in King’s Cross, you will be the go to person for various labels, executives and our partner. A data nut, problem solver, and people magnet, you’ll understand the importance of commercial partnerships and thrive in major event and media settings. As part of our Commercial Affairs department with a close-knit team of 3 peers, you’ll be able to make a real impact on our global relationships with our existing and new partners, and present Universal Music Group as a partner of choice for labels and artists in the world of music.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Build meaningful and lasting relationships with digital partner organisations as a superstar at educating and influencing key stakeholders
• Be the go to person for all digital teams across UMG territories, developing a centre of excellence to co-ordinate and support digital initiatives
• Negotiate marketing plans and influence partners to meet Universal’s digital marketing objectives
• Manage the partners needs and objectives as their global lead partner, constantly finding new and exciting ways of making this partnership as fruitful as it can possibly be
• Work closely with business analysts to assess results and forecasts, analyse sales data from digital partners to establish trends, and share your recommendations as an expert to the business
• Identify new product initiatives and business development opportunities within the account and leverage internal teams to make new initiatives happen
• Monitor and co-ordinate account developments, artist campaigns and partner’s performance, and present trends back to the business
• Bringing back the human-to-human connection to working with digital accounts, you will be traveling to relevant territories fostering better and stronger relationships

• You know the music and entertainment industry in and out, having worked with a streaming service or other labels and artists before
• You drive a culture of positivity whilst having the ability to remain calm in an often-pressured environment
• You have a curiosity to find new ways to share knowledge and apply skills, including challenging our processes and ways of working. You’re comfortable implementing iterations and seeking feedback, in a nimble and user-centric way
• An expert juggler, you know how to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines
• Data is more than just numbers for you; it’s valuable and treasured, and you know exactly how to interpret and present your finding to your audience
• You believe confidence paired with humility is key to fruitful relationships, and you are seen as a mentor to many people around you
