EMI Music is on the hunt for a superstar Artist Marketing Manager to join the EMI team! As the advocate for your designated labels/artists, you are music-mad, creative and commercial; able to develop artist vision, excite stakeholders, project manage and maximise sales opportunities for an array of International and Domestic artists.
The successful candidate will be crazy about music. Not just the artists themselves, but also the industry, how it has evolved over time and how we connect with fans in this digital world. You will have a background in marketing and are highly creative.

Here’s the gist -
• Collaborate with key areas of the business including marketing, promotions, A&R, label/artist management, content strategy, sales, sync/licensing, merchandise, D2F and business development to create and project manage innovative marketing plans/creative briefs for assigned roster of Australian and International Artists.
• Develop social and content strategies to grow local fan base across online and offline artist communities.
• Engage target audiences and align marketing plans with trends and consumer behaviour.
• Identify and consider Australian and International artists in relation to their media, marketing and sales potential within Australia.
• Monitor overseas charts and trends and incorporate into your project plans.
• Use insights to identify new trends to inspire the team with innovative ideas to connect artists with their fans.
• Develop and harness relationships with repertoire owners and International departments, collaborate on marketing strategies, promotional opportunities and tours

• You are completely and utterly obsessed with all things music and our labels!
• You have relevant qualifications / experience in marketing, digital or consumer behaviour.
• You have an understanding of the digital space, emerging technologies and their effect on the current landscape.
• You are highly creative and innovative with the ability to think outside of the box.
• You are also a bit of a nerd with data and analytics.
• You get along with all kinds of different people, collaboration is key.
• You’re not looking for a typical 9-5 job!
