Universal Music Group is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant, Film & TV Licensing, in the Santa Monica, CA location.
Overview:
This position is responsible for providing administrative support in a highly multi-task environment. This position reports to more than one executive.
General assistant responsibilities to include:
• Manage phones
• Faxing, copying, filing, etc.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings
• Schedule, plan and book travel
• Process concur T&E’s
• Mailings
• Miscellaneous administrative responsibilities for supervisor and staff as needed
• Build basic excel spreadsheets
• Build basic powerpoint presentations
• Coordinate and distribute marketing and sales information
• Create reports from licensing system as needed
• Assist with contract administration as needed
• Complete and Follow-up on special projects and tasks
• Help as a team player with entire department as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements:
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Knowledgeable in internet usage
• Professional demeanor in dealing with people and clients
• Positive attitude, good communication skills and enthusiastic team spirit
• Experience in the entertainment business (esp. Music) preferred
• Ability to keep information confidentia
