Intern - Music Industry

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

About you:

We're looking for highly organized, dependable, and trustworthy individuals with a love for music (specifically jazz, funk, hip-hop, R&B, and soul). In addition applicant must have the ability to self-motivate, an eagerness to learn, and an easy-going, can-do attitude. Most of all, the applicant must have great phone personality/ professionalism and respect the confidentiality of our clients.

Applicant must possess the ability to work well under pressure in a small, high energy office environment.


About the position:

Intern responsibilities and job activities include: Data input, internet research of artists and other music industry professionals, answering telephone, addressing client questions; distributing messages, receiving and guiding guests, maintaining communication logs; ensuring that reception area is clean and welcoming, providing general administrative support to agents and office personnel, filing, and creating correspondence

We are looking to fill a 3 day per week, non-paid position. Intern candidates must be willing to make a 3 month commitment. Further employment is not guaranteed, however several of our interns have gone on to become members of our team. Office hours are Monday through Friday 10am – 6pm.
