UTA has an immediate opening for a full-time Agent Trainee at our Nashville office focused on Music Touring. After gaining the skillsets to succeed in our Agent Trainee Program this opportunity has the potential to lead into an Agent Assistant position. UTA Music is home to a diverse roster of some of the world's premier musical talent, from emerging acts to superstars. Focusing on driving client careers through recording deals, touring, performances, licensing, and brand partnerships. The ideal candidate is passionate about music and live events, has industry knowledge and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should be enthusiastic, flexible, organized and can multi-task under pressure while providing administrative support.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact with VIP clients and executives
• Heavy phone management – answer and transfer calls, schedule & coordinate conference calls (including multi-party, multi-time zone conference calls)
• Calendar management – daily calendar management; update, cancel and confirm meetings. Scheduling and coordinate meetings, both in-office and offsite
• Expense reports - prepare monthly reports for review & submit to accounting for approval
• Travel booking and coordination
• Assist with live events; collecting ticket counts from buyers and promoters for tours on-sale
• Track clients and potential clients
• Special projects
• Personal assistance as needed
• The ability to work unexpected frequent overtime
Qualifications:
• Preferred but not required BA/BS from an accredited University or College
• Experience booking as part of your University's Campus Events Committee, preferred
• Experience in live events/music booking and touring, preferred
• At least 1 year of agency desk experience, preferred
• Administrative experience supporting an executive in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, excellent phone demeanor
• Excellent interpersonal skills, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality
• Must be reliable and possess good judgment
• Must be service minded
• Ability to anticipate needs
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Knowledge and passion for the music and entertainment industry
• Understanding of UTA's Music Client Roster, a plus
