We're a post-production facility in Santa Monica, and we're in need of a new Receptionist. This job is ideal for someone just starting out in the industry, who sees their future in editing. This is the perfect environment to learn the ropes of the industry.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
-Answering phones and representing the company in a professional manner
-Sending out a daily schedule to the company
-Interacting with clients and staying in constant communication with Client Services and our Producers regarding their clients.
-Filing an array of paper work
-Compiling a weekly client list of all the agencies we work with
-Supporting producers with any small tasks they need to accomplish
Useful Skills To Have:
-Excellent Communication
- you'll be responsible for directing visitors in the right direction and making sure our client services team, editors and producers are aware of when their clients have arrived.
- you'll be handling a busy phone line and directing numerous calls everyday. Having good phone etiquette is imperative.
-Excellent Organization-
- Filing paperwork on time and correctly is very important, as Producers will refer to it whenever they're billing a client.
-Attention to Detail
-Its very important that you are share correct job details with Runners and Client Services so they can bill the correct client accounts.
-When taking calls, getting a name, number and a detailed message so that the editor/producer is well informed of who called and why.
-Outgoing Personality-
-You're the first impression people get of our company when they arrive; therefore, the receptionist needs to be pleasant, outgoing, and knowledgable of where to direct visitors when they enter.
