Assistant, Talent Relations, Events and Awards

Position reports to two executives within the Publicity Department, focusing on Talent Relations, Events, and Awards
Job Duties:
• Collaborate on all studio driven events including Emmy's, Golden Globes, TV series milestone parties, staff receptions, Walk of Fame and Television Academy FYC events and panels
• Oversee master guest lists and talent travel for Fox Golden Globe & Emmy parties
• Create invitations for studio produced events
• Maintain talent database including management contacts, cast wardrobe sizes, birthdays, home addresses and track start of production dates, series wrap dates, and milestone dates
• Coordinate talent and producer travel and create and distribute subsequent itineraries
• Assist with all talent and producer gifting, including gift research, order placement, wrapping and shipping of gifts for talent & producers
• Support awards campaigns, including submissions for studio projects across multiple categories for Emmy Awards, Golden Globes, SAG Awards, DGA, WGA, PGA, NAACP, Peabody, Humanitas, AFI Awards and additional guild opportunities
• Assist with budgets and planning of Emmy related activities including media buys, annual studio mailer, and logistics for FYC Events and other guild screenings
• Assist in content delivery of clips and reels to all awards offices
• Work with multiple guild and academy offices for awards table purchases
• Daily administrative support – phone coverage, filing, invoice processing/check requisitions
Requirements:
• Minimum of one (1) year related industry experience is mandatory
• Requires a professional interest in talent relations, event planning, awards and the television industry
• Must have basic knowledge of entertainment publicity, talent and related business contacts (agents, managers, publicists, media outlets, etc.)
• Must possess a positive & can-do attitude, be a be a self-starter, able to multi-task, and prioritize in a fast paced work environment
• Requires excellent computer, design and organizational skills. Must be Photoshop, Outlook, and Excel proficient.
