TVG Network, the official TV and Interactive Wagering partner of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) and a subsidiary of BetFair Group LTD, is among the most widely distributed horseracing networks in the world. TVG viewers in certain areas can wager interactively on races via telephone, the Internet, TVG Mobile
or Interactive Television by establishing a wagering account.
TVG is currently seeking an Executive Assistant for our Los Angeles offices.
Essential Functions:
1. Performing administrative functions for 2 TVG vice presidents, including answering phone calls, filing, scheduling meetings and responding to ad hoc requests.
2. Entering data for the Weekly Wagering Report utilized by TVG management.
3. Handling all employee benefit activities for TVG-LA office, including distributing new hire paperwork, benefit packages and internal HR communications.
4. Functioning as an iProcurement Associate in the Oracle iProcurement environment, which entails processing purchase requisitions for TVG requestors as goods or services are needed.
5. Working with TVG requestors to ensure payment of invoices on a timely basis.
6. Maintaining good effective communications and relations with TVG suppliers and accounts payable personnel.
7. Coordinating all onsite and offsite storage requests.
8. Performing general reception functions:
a. meeting and greeting visitors to the TVG-LA office;
b. answering phone calls;
c. receiving goods;
d. issuing security badges to TVG personnel;
e. maintaining cleanliness of TVG-LA break room
f. ordering supplies for facility
g. delivering mail internally
h. preparing mail for external mailing
Minimum Qualifications/Skills:
• Minimum 1-3 years administrative experience.
• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED; AA degree preferred
• Strong organizational and follow-thru skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel,.
• Detail oriented with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly.
• Purchase requisitioning experience with Oracle iProcurement a plus, but not required.
• Effective communicator, both verbally and written.
• Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible.
• Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision.
• Some lifting of supplies, boxes and other items up to 25#
• ADA: Hearing, seeing, speaking, sitting for long periods, hand dexterity for computer use and filing, bending, stooping, reaching, performing manual tasks
