Full Time Job
As Talent Acquisition Specialist you will support the business to attract and hire amazing candidates that fit with Turner's vision and culture. The role is incredibly varied and will support all Turner EMEA brands including CNN, Cartoon Network, FilmStruck, Bleacher Report, Big Pixel and Great Big Story. You will work on a wide variety of positions from our Early Careers roles to Director level and will also be involved in wider HR and Talent Acquisition related projects.
As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will have a proven track record of managing the entire recruitment process from taking the brief to offer management and have excellent communication and relationship building skills. You must be confident communicating with all levels of the business and should act as a brand ambassador for Turner.
What you'll be doing:
• Manage a high volume of roles 20-30 at any one time ensuring candidates receive a positive experience at each stage of the process
• Work with the Hiring Managers to understand their recruitment needs; providing recruitment advice and guidance on recruitment best practice
• Partner with the HR team to understand capability and recruitment needs across their business units
• Work closely with Reward to ensure accurate salary benchmarking of positions, and with HR Operations to ensure legal compliance
• Attend industry networking events and careers fairs to increase awareness of Turner
• Manage the applicant tracking system (Brassring) to ensure accurate reporting of key recruitment statistics
• Work with the Talent Sourcer to develop talent pools of candidates
• Support our Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
What we're looking for:
Essential Criteria:
• A degree or equivalent qualification or experience
• Experience managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from taking the initial job brief to offer management
• Excellent working knowledge of applicant tracking systems, such as Brassring or Taleo
• A proven track record from either an in-house, agency or executive search background
• Experience using social media for recruitment
• Experience managing a high volume of recruitment
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of media
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of UK employment legislation
• Fluency in an additional European language – ideally French, German or Italian
Desirable Criteria:
• Experience managing early careers or graduate level recruitment
• Management of creative and corporate vacancies
• Good working knowledge of Excel
• Experience working within media, digital or technology companies
