The Job
• The Marketing & Sponsorships Intern will support the Marketing Brand Solutions & Sponsored Brand Creative teams who are responsible for the on-air and social sponsored content across tbs, TNT & truTV.
• From brainstorming in response to advertiser RFPs (requests for proposals), to proactively ideating on sponsorship opportunities to executing standard & custom sponsored video content, this internship will introduce you to the many facets of the sponsorship production world.
• Collaboration with the larger Marketing, Social Media, Digital, Programming and Brand Creative teams will give insight into the workings of those teams and how they all come together to pull off flawless campaigns, both sponsored & unsponsored.
Learning Objectives include:
• Gain exposure to the sponsorship ideation process - understanding RFPs (requests for proposal), brainstorming, concepting, selling in your ideas to internal teams.
• Flex your creative skills by participating in sponsor-focused brainstorms & collaborate on the writing of concepts & scripts.
• Aid in the sponsorship execution process -- create timelines and grids, project manage with internal teams, route for internal approvals, opportunity to sit in edit sessions.
• Facilitate cross-network campaign tracking, integrating into the conversations around key show launches & capturing key beats as they pertain to a sponsor.
• Research & disseminate inspiring co-branded/sponsored content & innovations on a weekly basis.
• Assist in preparation for meetings and presentations - making copies for meetings, printing out status reports, taking meeting notes for distribution.
• Network with members of an array of departments to better understand the business as a whole.

• Ability to multi-task & excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative, but with excellent organizational skills -Ability to think with your right-brain -- creative, thoughtful & subjective -- as well as your left brain -- logical, analytical & objective.
• Take notes in a way that would make your professor proud.
• Zhuzh a presentation deck in a manner that makes your graphic designer friend jealous.
• Brainstorming is your happy place.
• Communicate at all levels internally/externally by phone, email or face to face.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel and Powerpoint) & Google Docs (e.g. Docs, Sheets and Slides).
• A team player who is eager to dive in, no matter the size of the task.
• An interest in learning more about the entertainment industry.
