Director, B Enterprise Inclusion
The Daily
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to executives and functions across WM, including HR, Legal and other Centers of Expertise.
• Owning the relationship with and advising HR and business executives on the integration of Equity and Inclusion into all aspects of the employee life cycle, performance management, employee relations, compensation, internal mobility, staff retention, talent acquisition, etc.
• Provide guidance, coaching and counseling to HR and business executives, people managers, and employees.
• Be accountable for tailoring and implementing enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion strategies, programs, and policies for multiple business units simultaneously in partnership with HR and business leaders, leveraging macro-trends, research, analysis and benchmarks.
• Influence through educating and serving as a consultative change agent for the organization.
• Establish key metrics to assess, measure and track results of D&I initiatives.
The Essentials
• Subject matter expertise on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion topics, specifically as it relates to the US Latinx and/or Black population.
• Proven track record of developing leading company-wide DEI initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 7 years combination of education and experience in areas directly related to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, e.g., Latino/a Studies or other major that examines topics such as race, class, generation, language, gender, and sexuality dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills; able to turn data into insights and a compelling narrative on impact.
• Ability to interact and influence at all levels, drive change and work on multiple initiatives simultaneously, with demonstrated experience engaging with and influencing executives.
• Excellent time management skills and results oriented; able to manage shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with employment laws a plus
