Content Operations Coordinator, Gkyac
WarnerMedia seeks a Content Operations Coordinator for the Programming department.
The KYAC Content Operations team manages and optimizes content assets across KYAC for delivery to Linear, Streaming, and Digital Platforms. The group works closely with multiple Warner Media departments, and with external content producers to ensure that KYAC content and metadata is delivered in an efficient and timely manner to meet business objectives. Team members are effective communicators who are innovative, process driven, and capable of seeing the big picture while staying focused on the operational complexities associated with multiple brands and studios. Responsibilities of the group include: (1) establishing and maintaining operational processes across KYAC Networks, Platforms, and Studios; (2) planning and communicating with centralized WM Systems and Partners, namely HBO Max, WB, and International; (3) developing media asset management policies and processes for multimedia files created or acquired by KYAC; (4) collaborating with technology and operations groups to identify and prioritize KYAC systems and technology needs.
The coordinator will be working with the managers and directors within the Global Kids, Young Adult, and Classics (KYAC) Content Operations to track delivery and availability of all original and acquired programming content and associated files from Cartoon Network Studios, Warner Brothers Animation, Adult Swim, and 3rd Party Distributors. The coordinator will provide instructions to Warner Media Technology and Operations teams for content customization and manage various ticketing processes to initiate content delivery and accuracy of content metadata throughout Warner Media and 3rd party systems. The coordinator will preview, QC and track delivery of creative assets for CN/Boom/AS/TCM and 3rd Party Distributors prior to delivery to HBO Max, Warner Brothers Distribution, and Global partners. The coordinator will work with LATAM on Spanish language versions and caption ordering for use in the US and will be the primary contact for the 24/7 Corus AS Channel.
The Daily
• Tracking Delivery and Availability of all Original and Acquired Programming Content and Associated Files which includes production schedules, scripts, music cue sheets, logos, artwork, screeners, Harding certificates, caption files, loglines, ratings, participant lists, rough cuts and final episodes
• Air Copy Creation Instructions for all episodes, specials and feature films across all branded networks and HBO Max and Spanish language tracking, versioning and caption ordering for the US
• MORPH ticketing (for secure content delivery, especially to LatAm and Corus) – this involves file-tracking, air date tracking, a ticketing process and final confirmation of secure watermarked episodes to the appropriate regional global partners
• Preview, QC and track delivery of creative assets including marketing materials (such as new series' bibles, character descriptions, keywords, genre) as well as marketing and promotional elements for use across networks, platforms and regions
• Handling the worldwide incoming and outgoing flow of materials and metadata for 40 – 50 ongoing series as well as new original productions, acquired series and podcasts across Cartoon Network, Boomerang, adult swim, and HBO Max
• Previewing, QC and tracking delivery of creative assets – thumbnails, promos, backgrounds, music and effects, on-air packaging, etc.
• Maintaining data integrity in the master Smartsheets document for permission-based use around the world for all brands- milestone dates from concept to final production and global premieres. This tool will be used by all other departments to plan program scheduling, marketing strategies, and other creative asset production
The Essentials
• Must have held an Internship or paid position in the related fields of programming, production, media operations, media asset management, etc.
• Must be proficient with spoken and written communication and with basic computer skills and software use-MS Office Suite, emails, browsers, spreadsheets, etc.
• Experience with Smartsheet.
• Passionate about the Cartoon Network, Boomerang, adult swim and TCM brands.
• Extremely organized, comfortable with using and developing new technology, and attentive to lots of details.
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in related field of study
