International theatrical touring company in Gaithersburg seeks a part full-time Office Assistant to join our team. A successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative functions and contribute to the overall organization of the office.
Candidates will be required to have:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Superior customer service skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
Strong organizational skills, and a commitment to follow through with tasks
Punctuality, ability to multi-task well
Willingness to work as a team player
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
A background working in theater is preferred, but not necessary.
Some of the responsibilities include:
Administering business accounts (phone, shipping, internet, etc.)
Recording and distributing daily financial reports
Assisting production staff with various special projects
Preparing purchase orders
Sorting and distributing mail
Ordering office supplies
Scanning and archiving old files
Interfacing with landlord on office matters
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday. Hours are 10AM to 6PM.
