Tri Star Sports & Entertainment is looking for high-performing Senior Accountant to join our Touring department in Nashville.
The Senior Tour Accountant would need a strong understanding of accounting policies and procedures, specifically in touring, and would be reporting up to the Tour Accounting Manager. In addition, this individual will:
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in adherence to business management related policies and procedures, including posting journal entries, GL account reconciliations, budgeting & forecasting, etc.
Assist Tour Accounting Manager with client risk assessment, financial planning, and tour budgeting.
Review all client agreements and contracts to record accurate commissions, calculations, and payments.
Prepare and present financial analysis, long term cash flow analysis, and P&L reporting solutions.
Work directly with the Tour Accounting Manager in new client onboarding procedures.
Assist Tax Department in providing necessary data and paperwork for all tax processes.
Review work and accuracy of Staff Tour Accountants. (bill pay, revenue tracking, client specific accounting, payroll, etc.).
Handle ad hoc projects as needed.
SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of accounting experience within a public accounting firm and/or the entertainment industry OR 5+ years of bookkeeping experience for high net-worth individuals.
Experience using QuickBooks and Excel.
BS in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or Music Business with strong academic record.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across the organization.
Extremely detail-oriented to create accurate and timely reports.
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude & a fit with the company's culture & values.
