Trevanna Post, a leading post production accounting firm with offices in New York, Los Angeles, and London is looking for a problem solving, puzzle loving, challenge seeking Assistant Accountant to join its New York team. To succeed in this position, you must be organized, analytical, perceptive, and curious. You will be expected to enter accounts payable and maintain digital files, process weekly payroll for multiple shows, and work side by side with a key accountant from wrap of principal photography to delivery to the studio. We are a close knit company with decades of experience and appreciate an ability to work efficiently, courteously, and collaboratively.
Prior experience in production or accounting is a plus, but not required. We are looking for an interest in math, general office skills and a proficiency in word, excel and Adobe/PDF software. This position would require the employee to report to our office near Union Square five days per week for the initial training period. Work from home possibilities will be discussed thereafter.
