Our company has built an excellent network within the music business, both domestically and uniquely overseas in Asia. With an exceptional artist roster, combined with the growth of K-Pop and Asian influenced music, the focus is growing the undeniable potential of music based businesses.
Transparent Arts is currently seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to represent the company externally to the music industry, while internally support the overall vision and strategy. This individual must be a proven leader and easily demonstrate an ability to solve challenging business problems, think strategically about business models and partnership frameworks, and show a history of delivering measurable results.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Develop and implement strategies to further interlace the company into the global music industry
Identify, explore, and manage potential and meaningful partnerships within the Transparent Arts ecosystem
Create clear business proposals, negotiate complex business deals, and manage contracts
Work cross-functionally to ensure strategies and high-level goals are executed
Analyzing current sales strategies and regularly improve processes
Articulate the value of company services and products in alignment with clients' businesses
Be a model representative, highly collaborative, and juggle the needs of the business while providing value and excellent service to its partners and potential partners
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
10+ yrs experience in the music industry, preferably in a business development capacity
Domestic and occasional International travel required
Proven network of contacts and relationships with influencers and senior leaders within the music industry
Experience in creating commercial agreements, ideally both domestic and international
Ability to grasp and evolve models of business, understand implications on company business from external factors, and build strategic business plans
Proven ability to build, develop and manage meaningful relationships with both colleagues and external executives, from entry level to C-level
Strong communication skills with an intelligible ability to discuss business and strategic concepts to internal and external audiences
Dedication to communication, collaboration, and team chemistry a must
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; No Temporary Employment
Lives in Los Angeles County or can easily travel to Los Angeles County
Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule as needed, proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required
