GENERAL SUMMARY
We are looking for a Senior IT Systems Administrator to join our team. The Senior IT Systems Administrator will engage directly with Information Technology and Business stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable, scalable, high-performing computing platform services to the organization. We are looking for someone who is able to implement, secure systems, and monitor them. You will need to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be a team player and be adaptable to the many changing processes and technologies related to the various IT systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide operational systems support and maintenance to the organization's Systems Infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve operating systems and hardware related issues.
• Design, plan and maintain services across the enterprise using a mix of SAN, NAS and cloud-based technologies like AWS, Google and Microsoft Azure.
• Work directly with production support groups to design, build and maintain all server, storage, virtualization and backup environments.
• Own, track, and resolve server, storage and backup related incidents and requests.
• Manage Microsoft Windows and Linux servers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems, or Microsoft Certification in Windows Administration or comparable work experience preferred.
• 7 years' experience working in a fast paced mid-size environment with various versions of Windows Server and Enterprise IT Technologies.
• Experience of motion graphics rendering a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving various OS Systems and Hardware problems.
• Experience with scripting a plus
• General networking knowledge
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Hands on team player who has a flexible attitude and able to work in a small and collaborative team
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
