GENERAL SUMMARY
Trailer Park Group's Gaming Division is searching for a world-class Resource Manager to join our expanding operations team. You will partner closely with account, Project management, Finance, Operations, Creative and Talent Acquisition leads, ensuring all staffing and resourcing needs are solved in a timely manner. You will be in charge of the entire flow, from forecasting and identifying staffing needs to getting positions filled and onboarded. You don't see obstacles, you see opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify Staffing Needs
• Collaborate with Project Management & Departments Leads to put together Staff Plans for projects, retainers, and pitches.
• Review Scopes of Works and deliverables lists to ensure clear understanding of staffing needs and allocation.
• Forecast short-term and long-term FTE and freelance needs.
• Partner with Division's Head, Finance, and Operations to understand revenue forecasts and identify future staffing needs.
• Monitor and forecast utilization, billability and other KPI's and develop plans for improvements.
• Update and Track Staffing Needs
• Lead resource management meetings:
• Weekly resource meeting with account, project management and strategy to assess &update upcoming weeks/months' need.
• Weekly meeting to update leadership, finance and operations on upcoming staffing needs .
• Maintain an up-to-date calendar of department resources and availability, track PTO/travel and track projects' timelines.
• Manage resources and allocation across all departments of the division for each project/account, and partner with other divisions to find resources as needed.
• Ensure proper allocation of resources, by monitoring utilization, billability and burn reports in close partnership with finance and operations, ensuring targets are met.
• Partner with discipline leads to manage resourcing across their teams.
• Understand skills, experience and interests of resources to provide thoughtful staffing recommendations to team leads.
• Serve as first-line escalation point to resolve internal resourcing matters.
• Update and maintain all resourcing tools for accurate visibility and staffing.
• Fulfill Requests and Onboard Employees
• Initiate and track the hiring of resources & contracts renewals by working closely with finance, HR and IT partners.
• Build positive relationships with the recruiting team to help identify and prioritize recruiting efforts.
• Help onboard new resources on general tools and processes (timesheets, tools, etc.).
• Help offboard employees (assets and info shared, questions answered, etc.).
Tools and Processes
• Document and help improve the team's resource management process: roles, responsibilities, workflows.
• Work with other divisions across the company to implement best practices and tools relating to resource management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• 5 years of relevant work experience preferred
• Ad agency experience preferred
• Solid understanding of the digital/advertising project lifecycle and the roles of the various team members and subject areas in an agency
• Able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines; organized, detail-oriented and friendly
• Must be able to successfully prioritize multiple projects
• Must be able to apply knowledge, experience, and learnings to real situations to help solve problems
• Strong aptitude to learn new platform and technologies
• Strong relationship management, influencing and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, as well as being a strong communicator, both written and verbal
