Role
The strategy division at Trailer Park provides next-gen insights and advisory services to entertainment clients looking to navigate today’s complex media landscape. Marquee provides strategy to entertainment partners across Digital, Content, and Culture. Clients include original content campaigns at studios, streaming, and social media platforms.
We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty with data, and has a passion for understanding people and culture. Our intern will be a collaborative member of the team, eager to jump in and support research, brainstorming sessions, and writing needs.
Learning objectives:
• Partner on analyzing research collected from primary and secondary sources
• Contribute to the company’s overall understanding of social media entertainment marketing
Responsibilities
• Support consumer & market research for existing and future projects
• Provide research and perspective on new clients and projects
• Stay abreast of platform, category, and vertical trends
• Support strategy members in the collection and analysis of data for presentations
• Be an active contributor to brainstorming sessions
Qualifications
• Passionate about media and interested in pursuing a career in entertainment
• Understand and is fascinated by culture, sub-cultures, and the forces that move them
• An aptitude and appreciation to leverage insights to tell a compelling story
• Interested in developing skills around editorial and storytelling consumer behaviors
• A positive attitude and a good sense of humor
By the end of the internship, you can expect to have gained the following skills:
• Know how to conduct consumer & market research
• Have a thorough understanding of how we develop and build strategies that drive client business
• Become comfortable with numbers and skilled in presenting quantitative results in compelling ways
• Learn what it’s like to work in an agency environment and collaborate with different teams
