HR Coordinator (New York)
Role
We are looking for a talented HR Coordinator to join our New York team. This position owns a broad range of HR generalist support functions as well as administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Maintain HR database (ADP), including all data entry and processing employee time off requests
- Maintain all active employee and term files
- Generate various reports from ADP
- Verify all I9 documents are accurate and in compliance
- Administer all on boarding and off boarding paperwork
- Create purchase orders and oversee all billing and invoices for the HR department
- Perform basic administrative support for the VP of Human Resources
- Change/Update company organizational charts and job descriptions as necessary
- Handle employment verification requests
- Create offer letters and promotion letters
- Maintain and post employee birthdays
- Be a go-to resource for general HR questions
Qualifications
• 1-2 years of relevant HR experience
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• ADP experience preferred
• Experience maintaining confidentiality and interface with employees at all levels of the organization
• Experience identifying and managing process improvement initiatives
• Must possess positive attitude
• Proactive, resourceful and flexible
• Excellent organizational skills; able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Problem solving, detail oriented and excellent follow-through skills
• Must be able to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly
• Works collaboratively and proactively on multi-functional teams. Open to feedback
• Consistently communicates using appropriate methods for the situation and audience in a clear, concise and professional manner
