Role
We are seeking a Financial Analyst, with excellent analytical skills, a can-do attitude and tons of initiative to join our team. Reporting directly to the business unit Finance Manager, responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Responsibilities
• Assist the finance team with month-end close process to properly update client jobs, recognize revenue accordingly, and handle all credit card reconciliations
• Handle all invoicing responsibilities in a timely manner, ensuring job tickets are complete and understand the appropriate client contacts whom to deliver to
• Generate vendor purchase orders
• Analysis of Clients/Jobs for profitability, staffing and suggestions for margin improvements
• Monitor timesheet compliance; communicating with staff as necessary for timely submissions
• Create/update Utilization reporting on an ongoing basis
• Actualizing production budgets and various client campaigns
• Produce weekly aging reports to send to various clients
• Run post-mortem reports on prior and current clients/projects
• Open new client jobs, create POR’s (Purchase Order Requests) and run ad-hoc analysis and excel reports as needed
• Maintain/update rate cards for current/past clients
• Collect receipts and upload expense reports into Concur for division heads
Qualifications
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiating, influencing and prioritization skills
• Outgoing personality that encourages others to come together to help solve issues
• Complete competency in Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel skills
• 2 years of accounting or finance background
• Working knowledge with accounting software (Advantage experience strongly preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Consistent follow-through with a “can-do” attitude and a “what’s next” mentality
