Role
The ECD will be responsible for big 360, channel agnostic, campaign development. A passion for, and experience of developing big ideas that change consumer behavior or create culture, is a must. The role spans both brand and entertainment clients and includes concepting, hands-on creative work, and leading pitches and projects. Reporting to the CEO, the ECD will have the opportunity to grow, mentor & manage a creative department in the LA office.

CREATIVE LEADERSHIP
Trailer Park has an excellent reputation for its craft. This role will focus on leading a fresh campaign approach and supercharge the great creative expertise we are famous for. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring leader who loves to jump in and be hands on, can perform well under pressure, adhere to deadlines, manage multiple campaigns and bring energy and creativity to work each day. The ECD needs to feel confident in shaping any kind of creative thinking, from digital and social, experiential and VR, to OHH, branding and innovation.
The ideal candidate can motivate a creative team with ease, give great feedback on both copy and art direction, elevate the conceptual and executional quality of the work and is able to get the best out of a team. The ECD will be hands-on in building decks and developing/executing the work as needed.
A large part of this role is in-person client presentations. This candidate should be confident, well-spoken, and able to field/discuss creative feedback in the room. Selling through creative solutions and explaining production needs are also all part of this role.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
Collaboration with Trailer Park Strategy Lead, Account Lead, and divisional Creative Directors is essential for success.
The core team will work together to drive business growth, agency fame and client success. This role will also work closely with reps from the platforms (Google, Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat) to stay on top of best practices and recommendations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in design/copywriting/advertising
15 years’ experience in Advertising Agency or creative department roles
Creative Direction/Management experience
Portfolio of breakthrough, thumb-stopping work in social and digital.
Entrepreneurial and proactive approach.
Curious and passionate about social/digital creative and platform/technology innovation.
Creative problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management and follow-through skills.
Strong work ethic.
