White Turtle Studios, A Trailer Park Group Company, is looking for an experienced and skilled Business Development Lead to join us as we build our team in Mumbai.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a seasoned business development professional with a deep network in lifestyle, luxury, ecommerce, QSR, beverage, etc brands across India. The ideal candidate will drive new business growth, forge long-term partnerships, and position our agency as the preferred creative partner for leading brands. The role focuses on driving revenue through selling creative services such as production, post-production, animation, design, and video production.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for creative services (production, post-production, animation, design, video production)
- Secure new clients within the lifestyle, luxury, ecommerce, QSR, beverage, etc
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in media, advertising, and entertainment sectors.
- Develop and execute a business growth strategy aligned with the agency’s expansion plans.
- Craft compelling pitch presentations and lead end-to-end business negotiations.
- Build and nurture senior-level relationships with brand marketers, decision-makers, and CMOs.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored creative solutions that drive business impact.
- Act as a strategic partner, ensuring long-term engagement and repeat business
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing innovations.
- Develop a strong value proposition above mentioned categories/brands, differentiating the agency’s creative offerings.
- Represent the agency at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to drive visibility.
- Own and drive revenue targets, ensuring consistent pipeline growth and deal closures.
- Collaborate with internal creative, strategy, and production teams to craft compelling business proposals.
- Track, report, and optimize business development efforts to maximize impact.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Experience & Network: 10 years in business development/sales within an advertising, marketing, or branding agency focused on lifestyle, luxury, or beverages brands Strong connect within agencies, production houses, and brands.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of branding, storytelling, and campaign execution in above mentioned industries.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in acquiring and retaining high-value clients, meeting revenue targets, and negotiating large-scale deals. Successful in selling creative services (production, post-production, animation, design, video production)
- Strategic Thinker & Storyteller: Ability to craft persuasive pitches, articulate brand vision, and translate creative solutions into business value.
- Relationship Builder: Strong network with marketing heads, brand managers, and decision-makers in lifestyle and beverage brands.
- Self-Starter: Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving growth in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Excellent Communication: Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)
- New Business Revenue: Achieve revenue growth per quarter from new client acquisitions.
- Sales Pipeline: Maintain a consistent pipeline with a qualified leads per month.
- Conversion: Close pitches into signed deals.
- Client Retention: Ensure new clients renew or expand their contracts within 12 months.
- New Client Wins: Secure new brands every quarter.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with top decision-makers per quarter.
