We are currently hiring for the position of:
Industry Sales Coordinator
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Industry Office, the Coordinator of Industry Sales, will sell and coordinate the production of advertising opportunities at our main industry venues.
Responsibilities
• Sell advertising and promotional opportunities, banners and bag inserts, to sales agents, national agencies and producers
• Track revenue and supply weekly sales reports to supervisor
• Coordinate with clients to ensure that artwork is delivered on time
• Receive and pre-flight promotional artwork for printing in a timely manner
• Work closely with our printing vendors to ensure that all advertising material is printed, delivered, and set up on time
• Work closely with Industry Centre Producer to ensure that all stand artwork is printed, delivered, and set up on time
• Write a detailed post-mortem
Minimum Requirements
• Two years experience in the film industry (or related field), with a specialization in sales and/or marketing
• Background in business administration or arts administration is considered an asset
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite in particular) is considered an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate (oral and written) in a professional manner, and client oriented
• Detail and process oriented with excellent administrative and organizational skills
• Ability to respond to fast-changing priorities and deadlines and to accommodate a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
• Understands the role TIFF plays in the annual film festival circuit
• Fluency in foreign language(s) considered an asset

• June 4 – October 5, 2018
