DESCRIPTION:
TMZ is looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee daily operations for TMZ Tours—from the iconic Celebrity Tour to the fan-favorite After Dark Tour and new, next-level experiences. This role focuses on ensuring smooth operations, strong team management, and works with our strategic partners to make every experience unforgettable.
This role reports to the Tour Director and is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of operations, team management, and creative problem-solving in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
• Hire and schedule Tour Guides and Hosts.
• Work closely with our strategic partner to keep tours running efficiently—maintaining SOPs, supporting technical systems, and ensuring efficient and timely operational support.
• Track ridership and other key metrics, prepare reports, and provide intuitive insights.
• Assist with marketing campaigns and growth initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics for private charters and custom bookings to exceed client expectations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute sponsorship campaigns and integrations from planning through delivery.
Requirements:
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Tourism/hospitality or experiential ops background.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint, etc.)
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, is $75,000.00-85,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
